I really can't contain my hype for this game. You have to actually force yourself to go into their areas in order to encounter them ![]() Right now, you can finish the game without ever seeing a reaper. After my first play through, the fear was completely gone. I know the game has been out so all of this is pretty irrelevant, but I feel like these changes would add so much replay value. They never really feel like a threat, or that they even care about your presence at all Their aggro is super hit or miss, and they usually just spit fire and then piss off elsewhere. Dodging into a wreck or nearby cave would be your escape, but right now I feel like they get aggro’d just whenever you’re within X meters with leviathans not locked to an area, you would have to be able to hide. But hearing a reaper roar getting closer and closer while you’re out on the grassy plains? Nightmare fuel But those areas are so densely populated that exploration is just annoying. Right now, just avoid the mtns, dunes, and crash zone and you’ll almost never see a reaper. Have maybe 5-8 reapers, but they roam the whole map (except kelp, shallows, jellyshroom, and LR). make the leviathans roam, don’t lock them to certain areas. add another leviathan to the surface biomes If there was another type to mix it up, that would have been great (instead of just having ghosts and mostly reapers in the surface biomes). I wish the leviathans in the first one were changed. /r/GamePhysics - Clips of game physics shining and glitchingĭesign based on /r/FlatBlue created by /u/creesch./r/gaming4gamers - middle ground between purely-for-fun and more serious subreddits./r/GamingLeaksAndRumours - Leaks and Rumors.Posting unmarked spoilers will result in removal and warning, and posting spoilers with malicious intent will result in a ban.
